It’s 3 in the morning and I finally finished updating my little link nook over on the right there. Be sure to give some of these fine sites your eye, as I give them mine. Or something. Yeah.

I used to work at at mental health book publisher. I would often draw on days where there wasn't much to do. This is one picture I drew. Note the letterhead. I can only imagine what a psychologist would say about this.

This weeks Illustration Friday is Robot. More like an android this is.It started out kinda like Megaman. It started sucking, so I cyborged him a little bit. (Cyborged?) I'll probably do another one if I have the time.

Mysterio Love

 

Perhaps the gayest Mysterio Monday yet. Started out as a joke idea with my girlfriend saying something to the effect of "you sure love your Mysterio" while working on a previous installment. Not entirely satisfied with this one, but here it is.

Tetris Fever

 

I'm way into the Tetris DS. All the crack-like addictiveness (just one more game) of the original, with the added humiliation of getting defeated by someone halfway across the world. Seriously, how can so many good players be on there at 4:00 in the damn morning. I get my arse handed to me pretty regularly. Rev. Josh is my handle on there so be easy on me. I'm kinda lame.

Two Self-Portraits

 

I recently unearthed the above self-portrait. Judging on the shirt, this must've been about 8th grade or so, when Hypercolor shirts were big in 1990-91. Compare and contrast with my favorite recent self-portrait below which was done last year. Two things are clear. 1) I have not aged well at all. 2) I still have horrible taste in fashion.

 

Mysterio Monday (Wanted)

 

So Mysterio has a little cameo in me and kt's comick. Here he is on a wanted poster in the background of a frame. Me and kt investigating a body in an alleyway. Turns out he's a mentally retarded boy who came into contact with some toxic waste and, well I've said too much already. Stay tuned and I'll let y'all know when it's done.

Spotted

 

This week's Illustration Friday topic is Spotted. I figured the easiest way to convey this topic would be with one of my bizarre creatures. Yep. Here he is.  The spotted leopard mouse. Endangered species, he is. Probably due to their genetically predisposed nature to smoke three packs a day. Weirdos. (One of these days I need to learn how to paint.)
